This notice applies to buildblock.com and the pages linked from it. BuildBlock Building Systems LLC, 9705 N. Broadway Extension, Suite 150, Oklahoma City, OK 73114 (“BuildBlock”, “we”, “us”) operates this site. By using it you accept this notice. If you do not accept it, do not use the site.

1. Information on this site

Product descriptions, specifications, drawings, load tables, details, and videos are provided for general information. Products, specifications, and prices change without notice. Where this site and a current BuildBlock installation manual, engineering table, or signed quote differ, the manual, table, or quote controls.

2. Technical documents

BuildBlock publishes engineering manuals, standard details, and installation guides. Each one states its own scope, limits, and notices, and those control over this notice. The engineering in each document is valid only to the level that document specifies, within its stated limits, loads, and conditions. Some are prescriptive tables certified by a licensed engineer for the codes they name.  Check the type, the revision date, and the scope of the document you use, and use the current version.

A licensed design professional must review every project for the structure, the site, and the building code that applies to it. Building code adoption varies by jurisdiction and often trails the newest published edition. A document applies where the code edition it names has been adopted, so confirm the adopted edition with your building official. Where a project falls outside a document’s stated limits, an engineered design is required. BuildBlock’s material take-offs and estimates are based on the information you give us. You and your design professional remain responsible for confirming quantities, details, and code compliance before you order or build.

3. Dealers, distributors, installers, and other third parties

The Find a Distributor page and our staff may refer you to independent dealers, distributors, installers, and contractors. We do this as a courtesy. These businesses are independent. They are not BuildBlock employees or agents, and they cannot bind BuildBlock.

BuildBlock does not license, bond, insure, supervise, or guarantee the work, prices, schedules, or advice of any referred business, and a referral is not a recommendation or an endorsement. You are responsible for checking each business’s license, insurance, references, and contract terms before you hire it. Any agreement you make is between you and that business.

When you ask us to match you with a dealer, distributor, or installer, we send your contact details and project information to that business so it can contact you. See the Privacy Policy.

4. Product warranty and sales terms

BuildBlock products are covered only by the written Limited Warranty. Orders are governed by the Order Policies and the store terms and conditions. Nothing on this site creates a warranty by itself.

5. Disclaimer

Except as stated in the Limited Warranty, this site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, BuildBlock disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful code.

6. Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BuildBlock is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of this site or from reliance on its content. Where the law does not allow a limit, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits. Nothing in this notice limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in it limits the Limited Warranty.

7. Intellectual property

The site’s text, drawings, photographs, videos, software, and layout belong to BuildBlock or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other law. BuildBlock, BuildDeck, BuildLock, GlobalBlock, BuildBuck, BuildBrace, BuildClip, BuildShield, BuildRadius, BuildCrete, HardWall, ThermalSert, and the BuildBlock logo are trademarks of BuildBlock Building Systems LLC. Some are registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Other product and company names on this site belong to their owners. 

You may view and print site content for your own project work, and share our public links. You may not copy, modify, sell, or republish site content, or use our marks, without written permission. Installation manuals, details, and CAD or BIM files may carry their own terms.

8. What you send us

This site does not accept or publish content posted by users. If you send us drawings, plans, photographs, or comments through a form or by email, you confirm that you have the right to send them. You give BuildBlock permission to use them to respond to you, quote your project, and run our business. We do not publish your plans or photographs, or name you, without your permission.

9. Links to other sites

This site links to sites we do not control, including YouTube, dealers, and code or industry organizations. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a rate that burdens it, or submit false information.

11. Export

BuildBlock does not sell to embargoed or sanctioned destinations or to restricted parties, and screens inquiries for them. You may not use the site to arrange a sale in violation of U.S. law.

12. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a written notice with the work, the location of the material, your contact details, and a good-faith statement to [email protected].

13. Governing law

This notice is governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in [Oklahoma County, Oklahoma] have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes about this site, except where the law gives you the right to sue elsewhere.

14. Changes

We may change this notice. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the change.
